Increasing the use of preventive services by adults aged 50 or older is a key public health strategy, given the rapid aging of the US population. Unfortunately, only 25% of adults aged 50 to 64 and less than 50% of those 65 or older are up to date on these potentially life-saving services.

So, serving as a source for reliable information on the health and well-being of older people is a big part of who we are. At the Alliance, we have created, and continue to add to, a digital library of Health education and older people book education resources on age-related conditions, diseases, and topics that impact the health of older Americans.

Older adults are the fastest growing population in the United States. This requires a large portion of healthcare resources to be exhausted in attempts to keep these patients healthy and living longer.
